Water Constructions and Water Management
Acquisition of professional education in the design and operation of water management structures and water management in the country necessary for the exercise of the profession or for advancement to the engineering degree.
Prospects of graduates
Graduates acquire complete first-degree university education in the study field of Water Constructions and Water Management During their studies, graduates acquire knowledge from the area of water constructions and water management, water management in the country, in water management systems and knowledge of water treatment plants and sewage systems. It supports the use of computer technology in theoretical procedures, designing, modelling and optimising of computer procedures. Graduates of the Bachelor studies understand the key facts and terminology related with the construction and operation of water management constructions. They can use the knowledge when designing and creating constructions in such a way as to point out the understanding of relationships and impacts of alternative decisions. Graduates will be able to work in bodies of state administration and local government, in offices of environmental protection and organisations carrying out administration and operation of water management, as company water managers, assistants of project designers of water management constructions or operators of ameliorative facilities.

The basic condition for admission is successful completion of secondary school by passing the matriculation exam. An applicant who fails to prove the fulfilment of this condition by 10.5.2022 (or 18.8.2022 in the 2nd round of entrance examinations), may be admitted to the study conditionally with the proviso that he/she proves the fulfilment of the above condition no later than on the date set for the enrolment in the study.
