Systematic Philosophy

The study and research is based on an understanding of philosophy as a specific form of knowledge with its own subject matter and methods of inquiry, and emphasizes systematic disciplines and problem orientation. The doctoral student works with the current state of knowledge, participates in the research projects of the department and the result of his/her research is a comprehensive treatment of the problem under study, developing the current state of knowledge. The graduate is prepared to continue his/her academic career as a university teacher or creative researcher in scientific research institutions. He/she is also able to work at higher levels of management in state and public administration organisations, in the third sector (non-profit organisations, foundations, etc.) as a leader of a broader project team. He will also find employment in positions in the fields of: politics, public relations, editorial offices of publishing houses, media and cultural institutions.
