Additional information
Applications for studies are submitted only to one location - the Seminary in Nitre (N). In Nitra, candidates for the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Bratislava and the Archdiocese of Trnava, for the Dioceses of Nitra, Žilina and Banská Bystrica, religious and lay people study. Candidates apply for studies through the portal eprihlas electronically.
Beginning with the 2023/2024 academic year, renovations are planned for the faculty building and the seminary in Bratislava. During the reconstruction, the studies and accommodation of the divines will be carried out in the Priest Seminary in Nitra.
In addition to the online application form, the following documents must be submitted as an attachment: matriculation certificate (scan), university diploma (scan), curriculum vitae (scan), statement of the local parish priest (scan), consent to the processing of personal data (scan).

Applicants with specific needs - if they are interested in admissions concessions related to their medical condition, a doctor's medical certificate (scan) must be submitted with the application form.

Knowledge of Slovak language. Other the same as for citizens of the Slovak Republic.

General information on the admission exam
The entrance examination for the Master's degree (combined first and second degree) is conducted in written and oral form. The written test examines general aptitudes for study, knowledge of the Holy Scriptures, the life of the Church and of religious education appropriate to the level of secondary education. The entrance examination also includes an oral interview, which mainly assesses motivation for study. Candidates for the priesthood undergo an interview for admission to the seminary prior to the faculty entrance exam.
On receipt of the application form, the faculty sends the candidate basic information about the entrance examination and basic study literature for the written test, along with an invitation to sit for the entrance examination.

Knowledge test on Holy Scripture, the Catechism and current events in the Church. Elaboration of a topic - a choice of five topics according to the style of the essay.
