Prospects of graduates
The graduate of the bachelor's study program in the field of applied informatics is able to cope with the increasing demands of scientific, technical and economic development. They are expected to be in high demand in all types of companies that depend on information technology and that apply IT methods and tools in a variety of industries.
The graduate has a good knowledge of mathematics and theoretical informatics and at the same time a broad overview of their application and application in practice (programming, databases, program systems) and other disciplines (computer graphics, artificial intelligence, cognitive science ) . The graduate of the field of applied informatics will be able to continue their studies in the corresponding master's program.
In addition to basic knowledge of informatics and the relevant application domain, bachelors of applied informatics have basic knowledge in economics, management and market economy. They can analyze, design, implement, extend, adapt and locate computer and information technology systems. Graduates of applied informatics (1st level) will gain a deep and holistic understanding of computer systems , they will understand not only the theoretical basis of the field, but also how theory affects practice. They will have a solid foundation that will allow them to renew their knowledge as the relevant field of applied informatics develops.
The graduate finds employment in various positions in the IT sector (system administrator , programmer, analyst, etc. ) . Thanks to the education he receives, including the ability to self-study, these may be even the highest positions in the IT sector.
