in the study programme Slovak Language and Literature is the acquisition of a master's degree in the study field of Slovak language and literature (or relevant interdisciplinary studies). Graduates of related fields of study may also apply for admission to the master's programme.

- The admission procedure includes: assessment of general study skills and knowledge in the relevant field of study, verification of language skills in the selected world language, verification of skills in written professional communication (discussion of the outline of the dissertation project).

- Application form for doctoral studies, form number: ŠEVT 49 400 2,
- Certified copy of the document certifying a master's degree in the required or related field of study,
- Certified copy of the document certifying a master's degree in the required or related field of study,
- certified copy of the certificate of the state examination,
- curriculum vitae,
- a list of published and unpublished works,
- outline project on the topic of the dissertation
- proof of payment of the admission fee.
