Human Resources and Personnel Management
Graduates of the Human Resources and Personnel Management study program in the first degree of higher education studies within the field of study 8. Economics and Management based on acquired knowledge, skills and competences will find employment as personnel workers in national economy, non-profit organizations, state and public sector and are eligible to perform professions such as:
- Personnel and payroll agenda specialist (SKKR level 6);
- Compensation and Benefits Specialist (SKKR level 6);
- Payroll Specialist (SKKR level 6);
- Recruitment and Staff Selection Manager (SKKR level 6);
- Personnel Administration and Employee Relations Manager (SKKR level 6);
- Human Resources Administrative Officer (SKKR level 6).
Important announcement:
In agreement with the Act 131/2002 Coll. on universities and on amendment of certain acts, the standard length of study for students enrolled in the study programme in the academic year 2023/2024 until the first year of study in part-time form of study, is changed to three years.

Full secondary or full vocational secondary education
Additional information
- Applicants who do not pay the admission fee and/or do not submit mandatory annexes with their application forms will not undergo the selection procedure.
- The selection procedure starts with the registration of the application to study in the AIS. The application must be registered in the Academic Information System (AIS) by the deadline as set by the faculty. The Faculty will not send notifications on the registration of applications. Applicant registration in AIS can be checked in the e-application, the application status shall be "preklopená/flipped".
- The Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Relations shall appoint a board for the admission procedure, consisting of a chairman and its members. The Dean shall decide on the admission to study based on the recommendations made by the board members.
- Unsuccessful applicants may submit a request for the decision to be reviewed to the Dean within eight days from its delivery.
- Applicants who received a decision on admission are required to enrol to the programme of study as instructed in writing.
- Pursuant to the Act No.131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education, as amended, § 59 (3), the faculties have the right to request information from admitted applicants whether they will enrol for studies. Shall applicants fail to provide the information by the deadline, their right to enrol shall lapse.

Tuition fees
In line with the applicable Directive on tuition fees and other fees associated with studies at TnUAD, tuition fees will be charged to part-time students, those full-time students who are simultaneously studying at another institution of higher education and/or students who have exceeded the standard duration of their study.
Admission procedure
The admission procedure is carried out without an entrance examination based on a selection procedure.
The best applicants will be admitted in the order of the results of the selection procedure. The results of the selection procedure shall be calculated as the sum of the points obtained for the average secondary school grade and the points obtained for each type of secondary school. The secondary school average is calculated as the arithmetic mean of the marks on the end-of-year school reports for years 1 to 3 of secondary school. (see Entrance exam).

The admission procedure is carried out without an entrance examination based on a selection procedure. The maximum score in the admission procedure for the Bachelor study (A+B) is 200. The minimum score for admission is 60.

(B) Point allocation for the secondary school completion:
Points to be allocated for the completion of the following types of secondary schools:
gymnázium: 100 points
secondary technical schools (with school leaving examinations): 70 points
secondary vocational schools (with school leaving examinations): 30 points
Electronic application form
The application is made via https://e-prihlaska.tnuni.sk. The completed and saved e-application form must be printed, signed and sent together with the required attachments to the Department of Student Affairs of the faculty.
Mandatory annexes for graduates of secondary schools in Slovakia and the Czech Republic:
Applicants shall send by post, together with the application form printed from the system, the following mandatory annexes:
- Copies of the end-of-year school reports from the 1st to 3rd year of secondary school, certified by a notary or an authority (not the secondary school). They are required for an application form to be included in the selection procedure.
- Copy of the school leaving certificate certified by a notary or an authority (not a secondary school).
- This year's graduates shall submit a certified copy of their school-leaving certificate as soon as they receive it. The latest deadline is the enrolment date.
Mandatory annexes for graduates of foreign secondary schools:
Applicants shall send by post, together with the application form printed from the system, the following mandatory annexes:
- Notarised copies of end-of-year report cards from the last 3 years of secondary school in official Slovak translation
- A certificate of at least B1 Slovak language proficiency or the result of a general aptitude test. The test can be found on https://www.scio.sk/nps/terminy-a-miesta.asp. The test result in percentiles must be equal to or greater than 20.
- A notarized or certified copy of a document of recognition of secondary education completed at a foreign secondary school (nostrification).
- Current graduates shall post a notarized or certified copy of the document of recognition of secondary education completed at a foreign secondary school (nostrification) no later than on the day of enrolment.
Mandatory annexes for graduates of foreign secondary schools with a granted asylum
In the case of persons who have been granted asylum, subsidiary protection or temporary refuge, they shall send by post together with the application form printed from the system, the following mandatory annexes (in line with Article 8(2) of the Study Rules and Regulations):
- An affidavit of completed secondary education.
- The result of a general aptitude test. The procedure for taking the general aptitude test can be found on: https://www.scio.sk/nps/terminy-a-miesta.asp. Applicants whose test percentile is equal to or higher than 30 will receive an overall score of 60 points.
- A copy of the document granting asylum, subsidiary protection or temporary refuge.
Mandatory annexes for graduates with special needs:
- When needed, applicants with specific needs shall enclose a request for having their special needs considered pursuant to the Organizational Directive for Applicants and Students with Special Needs, TnUAD.
Notice for applicants
Do not list any secondary school subjects or grades in the e-application. Do not enclose any attachments in the e-application.
An e-application is registered in the Academic Information System only with a "uložená/saved" status.
If the admission fee is not paid in the e-application form within 8 days of the "preklopená/flipped" application status, the applicant shall email a copy of the payment receipt to the Chief Accountant: maria.suletyova@tnuni.sk.
