Graduates from the three-year Bachelor degree study
· have the opportunity to continue their study towards Master degree ("Mgr.") if they meet the criteria set by the faculty,
· and to learn the basics in theory and history of the state and law, Roman law and Slovakia's law, the application and interpretation thereof in all fields of public law,
· to get oriented in private law,
· to learn the principles and the contents of international law and ways of application thereof, the contents of European law and the techniques and ways of and requirements on implementation and use thereof in the Slovak Republic.
Graduates from the two-year Master degree course, which is a continuation of the three-year Bachelor degree course are qualified for the following professions:
· judge, attorney, notary, counsel for the prosecution, distrainor, higher court officials, mediation and probation officer, jobs within police corps, in business, and in the fields of human resources management, international relations and European law application and approximation,
· for jobs within central and local public authorities, in international governmental and non-governmental bodies and organisations in Slovakia and abroad, including administration jobs European Union bodies,
· public administration jobs, central and local public administration, territorial self-government administration of cities, villages and regions, academic jobs in research and Teaching of Subjects at research institutes and faculties of law.

Entrance requirements for Bachelor degree applicants in the academic year 2009/2011.
Completion of secondary education is the principal condition of admission to the three-year Bachelor degree ("Bc.") study followed by the two-year Master degree ("Mgr.") study, unless required criteria have not been met.
Passed entrance exam is another condition of admission.

The Trnava University Faculty of Law (hereinafter "faculty") opens three-year full-time and part-time Bachelor degree courses in the academic year 2009/2010. part-time Bachelor course is subject to fees. Yearly part-time Bachelor course tuition in the academic year 2008/2009 is 663 € (19,973.00 SKK).
Course type applied for, full-time or part-time, must be clearly indicated in applications. Applicants applying for both Master course types, full-time and part-time, in the Law major are required to submittwo separate applications. Applicants shall then obtain one invitation to entrance exam per course type (i.e. they will sit for two entrance exams). The entrance exams scores will be considered respectively (better scores shall not provide grounds for admission).
full-time courses require students' daily attendance at lectures, practical lessons and others as may be scheduled. part-time courses require students' attendance at tuition lasting two days and organised by the faculty three to four times per semester. The course types are equivalent from the point of view of duration, study requirements, study programme contents and graduates' prospects to perform all judicial professions.
Conditions for international students
Entrance requirements for international students and those who received their secondary education abroad are identical to requirements applying to applicants who have completed their secondary education in the Slovak Republic and are citizens of the Slovak Republic.
Conditions of admission without the entrance exam
All Bachelor degree study programme applicants are required to sit for entrance exams.

The administrative fee of 1,500.00 SKK shall cover the admission procedure cost. The procedural fee is to be paid by the applicants to Právnická fakulta Trnavskej univerzity, Hornopotočná 23, 918 43 Trnava, Slovakia. The procedural fee is to be paid via a postal order containing the following account number: State Treasury 7000241244/8180, Variable symbol 0680000106, reference number 008727686 Payment of the fee for the admission procedure must be attached to the third page of the application.
The fee shall not be refunded to applicants who do not attend the entrance exam.
