Architectural Engineering

The graduate of the study programme in the field of civil engineering will receive technical-architectural education in the course of studies, is able to cooperate creatively with all participants in the construction and with specialists of all professions of project documentation of civil engineering. The student is able to independently design residential buildings and simple ground structures using computer graphics and computational procedures in the field of designing and assessing building structures and spaces in terms of statics, building physics, technical equipment of buildings, etc., up to the level of implementation project documentation. Under expert guidance, he/she is able to prepare project documentation for construction proceedings and implementation of even more demanding ground structures, participate in the preparation and implementation of residential, non-residential non-production, non-residential production and non-residential agricultural and other buildings. The broad multidisciplinary profile of the graduate is complemented by knowledge of business, management and the fundamentals of construction law.
