Prospects of graduates

A graduate is able to independently provide individual nursing care (preventive, supportive, therapeutic) using the method of nursing process including education - to individuals, families and groups. He/she ensures its maximum quality in accordance with ethical principles and rights of patients. A graduate is able to think critically and work with the results of the credible research.

According to the valid legislation, automatic recognition of diploma in the EU countries is guaranteed to the graduates of Nursing study programme.

Conditions of admission

The basic condition for admission is the completion of upper-secondary education or upper-secondary vocational education. The other condition is to be placed on a list of applicants ranked in ascending order of the average of the marks obtained in the final three years of secondary school in the order of the maximum number of applicants planned for the programme of study concerned.

General information on the admission exam

the Faculty requires electronic registration of the application form according to the instructions published on www.jfmed.uniba.sk,
knowledge of the secondary school curriculum is required,
the faculty will send detailed information about the admission procedure in March 2023,
attach to the application form certified end-of-year certificates for the last three years of study,
if an applicant is applying for more than one bachelor's degree programme, he/she shall indicate them on one application form and make one payment; if he/she is applying for more than one degree programme at different stages of study, he/she shall send separately for each degree programme the application form, payment and attend the entrance examination for each degree programme.
