The graduates of the study programme Air Transport Management are competent and qualified university experts for the organisation, management and control of air traffic, operation of airports and their facilities, for air transport planning, for economic and business activities of authorities and organisations operating, managing and controlling air transport and special aviation works at home and abroad.They have knowledge of modern transport technologies, master management methods and modern information technologies necessary for the management of transport systems, are able to independently and creatively solve complex air transport problems using modern means for decision support and optimise the operation of air transport systems and their parts. The actual application of the graduate is in aviation, transport, military and industry. Graduates of the programme are able to use advanced methods and techniques of design and development of transport systems.

General conditions of admission:
- Successful completion of a first cycle university degree in a study programme that is accredited in the same field of study as the second cycle study programme for which the applicant is applying,
- Successful completion of a first cycle university degree in a study programme that is accredited in the same field of study as the second cycle study programme for which the applicant is applying,
- or the successful completion of another study programme (or a field of study under the previous regulations), the content and structure of the courses completed in which, however, guarantee the eligibility to continue the study of the chosen study programme of level 2. In such a case, the admissions committee decides on admission on the basis of a proposal from the programme guarantor.
