Medical technology
The study is single-discipline. It is organizationally divided into II. degree of higher education studies - 6 semesters (Mgr.). The aim of the study is to prepare graduates to solve the most complex problems of laboratory medicine, which requires the acquisition of comprehensive knowledge and necessary skills in basic medical subjects, the basics of pathology and preclinical disciplines, laboratory and investigative methods used in medicine, the basics of clinical disciplines, the basics of the application of laboratory methods in therapeutic and preventive activities, the subjects necessary for the evaluation of the results obtained by the output of laboratory and clinical methods, as well as computer technology.

Prospects of graduates
The graduate will be able to work independently in the departments of laboratory medicine (clinical biochemistry, hematology and transfusiology, microbiology, immunology, genetics, toxicology, pathological anatomy, clinical pharmacology, functional diagnostics), to organize work in the laboratory and to collaborate with clinical departments in solving diagnostic and therapeutic problems in the framework of the therapeutic-preventive process. The study does not interfere with any field of study at other universities. It is complementary to the study of medicine at medical faculties.

- certified copy of the diploma (graduates of St. Elizabeth's College and SP will supply an uncertified copy)
- certified copy of the certificate of state examination (graduates of the VŠZ and SP St. Elizabeth's shall provide an uncertified copy),
Applicants who will take the state examination after the deadline for the submission of applications shall provide the diploma (certified copy) and the certificate of state examination (certified copy) additionally (§ 58 (1) of Act No. 455/2012 Coll., Art.455/2012 Coll., Art. amending Act no. 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education as amended) before the enrolment deadline, so that a decision on admission to study can be sent.
Without submitting a certified copy of the diploma and a certified copy of the certificate of state examination, the applicant will not be enrolled in the study (§ 59 (3) of Act No. 455/2012 Coll., as amended), the applicant will not be admitted to study (§ 59 (3) of Act No. 455/2012 Coll., as amended). amending Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on higher education as amended). - proof of passed examinations and credits for bachelor's studies (not valid for graduates of VŠZaSP St. Elizabeth)
- student applicants who have studied at a foreign university - Decision on recognition of the equivalence of the document on education (photocopy of the decision must be officially certified) and at the same time provide an uncertified copy of the foreign document on education,
- Curriculum Vitae (signed)
- certificate of medical fitness to practise - from a doctor (for medical disciplines only)
- the applicant for the external form of study shall indicate in the application form on page 2 the details of employment
- proof of payment by deposit into an account
General information about the admission procedure:
- the college reserves the right not to open the first year of a programme of study for which insufficient applicants have applied
- an applicant who has paid the admissions fee, has been sent an admission decision and does not enrol will not be refunded
- the fee will also not be refunded to applicants who are not admitted on the basis of an incomplete application
- the registered application form with documents remains on file and in the archives of the college - it is not returned
Specific conditions of admission:
- Completion of the first degree of higher education in the relevant field of study.
- An application form must be accompanied by a medical certificate of fitness to practise from a doctor and a certificate of employment as a medical laboratory technician.
