Conditions for admission to the 3rd degree of study - doctoral study with FEI TU in KOŠICE in 2013/2014 academic year
The condition for admission to the doctoral study is in academic year of 2013/2014 duly completed second degree of higher education study and successful completion of the admission test.
Applications for the doctoral study, within which the applicant states besides the study programme one of the publicised dissertation theses title for the pertinent study programme along with the name of the instructor shall be submitted to the FEI Foreign relations department or possibly sent-in by first class mail.
The dissertation theses titles for the next academic year will be published by the end of March 2013 on the web: http://www.fei.tuke.sk/sk/studium/uchadzaci-o-studium/prihlasky-a-rozhodnutia.
Attached to the filled-in application for doctoral study must be:
- Certified English translation of the Engineer Diploma
- Certified English translation of list of subjects taken along with their contents, extents and results attained,
- Certified English translation of the document confirming success in a competition at preferential admission, e.g. a diploma,
- Brief CV
- List of published vocational and scientific papers (if applicable)
- Confirmation on health condition of the applicant (physical fitness).
- Proof of payment of the admission proceeding fee.
Additional information
a) Deciding on admission is the Dean, based on recommendation of the admission committee.
b) Sent to the admitted students will be a Letter of Admission.
c) Pursuant to provisions of Section 58 of the Act the applicant becomes a student only post enrolment and when met are conditions of enrolment (Details will be set out in the Letter of Admission). Formal enrolment of the applicant is usually held some 2 prior to commencement of the academic year (early September).
d) More details will be made public at www.fei.tuke.sk when necessary and thus kindly keep visiting the site and follow any possibly new requirements.

Knowledge of English (English language)
The entrance examination (§57, para.3of the Act) consists of linguistic and technical parts.
