The Faculty of Health of the Slovak University of Health Sciences in Banská Bystrica reserves the right not to open bachelor study programmes in case of a lower number of applicants than the planned number.It also reserves the right not to open any of these study programmes for other serious reasons.

Conditions of admission without the entrance exam

- studies are four years from the academic year 2016/2017 !

- completed and signed application form with required attachments with the proof of the paid admission fee,

- obtained competency to practice the health profession in the relevant field,

- work in the field at the time of application for studies and throughout the studies. The employer's confirmation of employment and length of professional experience shall be attached to the application form or on the date of enrolment.

- completed full secondary vocational education in the field of study of rehabilitation worker (rehabilitation assistant) - not a massage therapist, or higher vocational education in the field of study of certified physiotherapist completed by a graduation examination.

General information on the admission exam

The application form must be accompanied by:

- matriculation certificate - photocopy certified by a notary or registry office,

- applicants for the external form of study, if they have a higher vocational education, shall also attach a certified copy of the diploma of completion of higher vocational studies,

- a brief curriculum vitae,

- a doctor's certificate of the applicant's medical fitness to practise the profession in question - to be submitted with the application form,

- a certificate of experience in the relevant field of study to be attached only by applicants for the external form of study,

- applicants who are graduating in this academic year will submit their matriculation certificate (certified copy) on the day of the entrance exam, they will fill in the application form with the end of year grades for the 1st,2nd,3rd year of secondary school - the grades must be confirmed by the secondary school,

- Applicants who have graduated in the previous period, fill in the application form with the final year grades of four years of secondary school, the secondary school does not have to confirm the grades,

- if an applicant wishes to apply for more than one program of study at the university, he/she must submit a separate application for each program of study separately and pay the application fee for each application separately.
