The graduates of theFinance, Banking and Insurancein the first cycle of study (hereinafter referred to asF,BaPoi) will acquire during their studies a good theoretical foundation in the field of finance, banking and insurance as well as in the field of economic and regional policy and social and economic relations in connection with the latest knowledge and experience from practice.
A group of vertically linked study programmes provides professional knowledge for key professions, especially according to the programme focus.It offers students the acquisition of the basics of economic theory, knowledge of economic processes, modern analytical and forecasting methods.It is of key importance for the quality performance of professions related to modern finance issues.
In the framework of the study, students learn theproblems of economic processesmicroeconomics and macroeconomics. This experience will enable students to think more effectively in an economic context and to situate it in other specific areas such as tax policy, regional policy, and public finance.Graduates will be prepared to analytically assess relevant policies from both a macroeconomic and microeconomic perspective.
After completing the first degree programme in Finance, Banking and Insurance, graduates will have a basic range of theoretical and practical knowledge. In addition, he/she will acquire the foundations for working with empirical financial and economic realities.

Conditions for international students
Foreign applicants have the same conditions as applicants from the Slovak Republic, they must graduate from the Institute of Language and Vocational Training of Comenius University in Bratislava (except for applicants from the Czech Republic. Applicants who have been issued a certificate of a Slovak living abroad according to a special regulation are considered citizens of the Slovak Republic.

Notice:
EU in Bratislava will only accept an electronic application form that will be created in the Academic Information System (AIS2) of EU in Bratislava. The UE in Bratislava will not accept electronic applications created on the HEI portal (www.portalvs.sk) into its system.
The admission fee can only be paid by bank transfer (not by postal order). A bank transfer order is not proof of payment of the admission fee. A bank account statement or a payment receipt or a payment confirmation from online banking may be accepted as proof of payment.
