Additional information
The study of Evangelical Lutheran Theology Focusing on Social Assistance at the EBF UK as a Bachelor level study programme under the "Evangelical Theology" course of study is a new opportunity to obtain theologically justified and socially engaged education at the EBF UK. This general objective is achieved through the acquisition of knowledge in this study programme which offers a programme compiled from selected disciplines of the specialisation of "Evangelical Theology" and pedagogical disciplines, special pedagogical disciplines and the disciplines of social service. In this way the basic theological expertise provided by the EBF UK in its course of "Evangelical Theology" is applied in the area of social care. Simultaneously, there is a professional communication of the Evangelical theology with specialisations which tackle the understanding and management of social crises in which citizens find themselves in from various individual and society-related reasons. These objectives are achieved through the studies of selected courses of Evangelical theology so that these disciplines can be attended together with students of other study programmes of the EBF UK within the recommended organisation of the credit-based studies. As far as the disciplines connected with the area of general and special pedagogy and social services and consultancy are concerned, these courses based on lectures and seminars are attended by students at the EBF UK under the supervision of teachers of the Comenius University's Faculties who are the experts in these areas.
