Graduates of the study programme are able to analyse complex economic relationships in business processes, to design and implement managerial decisions. He/she has a profound knowledge of operational business management and strategic decision-making from the aspect of economic globalization. It is able to work with complex information systems in enterprises, to master the organisation of managerial work and managerial communication.
Prospects of graduates
General and professional knowledge in the field of economics, supported by language skills, predestine the graduate to apply in managerial functions at the top level of management of the agricultural primary production and food industry as a generalist and specialist manager. Due to their communication skills, graduates will also be able to work in companies with foreign participation or in international trade.

The basic condition for admission (Section 56 of the Higher Education Act) to study a second-degree study programme is completion of a first-degree study programme in the same or a related field of study. The decisive criterion for the selection of students for the second cycle of studies will be the results of the first cycle of studies and the results of the state bachelor's examination. The evaluation criteria for the eligibility of applicants for admission are supplemented in accordance with Section 57(1) of Act No 131/2002 Coll. 1. social aspects (orphans, half-orphans) 2. physically handicapped applicants 3. interest of foreign Slovaks 4. regional aspects (acceptance of economically lagging and structurally weak regions in the appeal procedure)
Additional information
Graduates of the study programme are able to analyse complex managerial and economic relationships in an enterprise. They are able to formulate marketing strategies of business entities. They have knowledge of human resources management, strategic and financial management and sales strategy, or agrarian marketing of the enterprise. In addition to managerial knowledge, they are proficient in economic and financial analyses of the enterprise, solving business risks and tax systems of the entities, and have the necessary knowledge of international marketing, business law and other subjects corresponding to the content of the study programme.
They are also proficient in economic and financial analyses of the enterprise.

- Curriculum vitae (original signed by the applicant),
- certified copy of the Bachelor's degree and the certificate of the 1st level state examination (only applicants from other universities),
- original transcript of the examinations passed, with full academic average, certified by the study department of the university concerned (only applicants from other universities),
- proof of payment of the fee for material support for the admission procedure
- in the event that the numbers above the established normative are filled for the respective study programme selected by the students, the applicants shall be reassigned to the study programme where the normative numbers have not been filled.
