Aplikovaná matematika
Študijný program je zameraný na vedecké metódy bádania v oblasti aplikovanej matematiky, na vývoj nových metód a vylepšenie existujúcich metód modelovania reálnych dejov a predikcie ich vývoja. Súčasťou študijného programu je aj vývoj softvérových nástrojov pre tvorbu modelov a ich následnú verifikáciu, ako aj aplikácie navrhnutých modelov a vytvorených softvérových nástrojov na reálne údaje z rôznych inžinierskych, technologických a ekonomických dejov.

Absolvent bude vedieť samostatne riešiť kvantitatívne sformulované problémy technickej praxe ako na teoretickej, tak aj na realizačnej úrovni, s využitím najnovších matematicko-inžinierskych softvérov (ANSYS, MATHEMATICA, STATGRAPHICS, atď.). Vo svojej užšej oblasti špecializácie bude mať podrobný prehľad o najnovšom vývoji danej špecializácie a bude sa podieľať na hlbšom rozvoji teórie v danej oblasti.

1. The acceptance for graduant study is conditioned by passing the admission exam which consists of a language and a professional commission exam. <br> <br>2. The language exam takes place along with the professional exam before the commission. It consists of the translation of a written text and presenting of a framework project focused on the topic of dissertation thesis, in foreign language. For the study, there may be accepted only those applicants who have successfully passed the language exam. <br> <br>3. The professional exam consists of oral examination of the applicant´s knowledge in given field and verification of his assumptions (qualifications) for successful study in given field. <br> <br>4. Within acceptance of the applicants, there are also considered the results of the previous study and other activities (publications, participation in contests etc.). The published papers will the applicant submit to the exam commission.
