Project annotation in Slovak language

Predkladaný projekt je zameraný na implementáciu inovatívnych didaktických prostriedkov a doplnenie praktickej časti výučby v oblasti potravín a metabolizmu v novom akreditovanom spoločnom študijnom programe (MSc. joint degree) Sustainability in Agriculture, Food production and Food Technology in the Danube Region (Danube AgriFood Master - DAFM). Je zameraný na udržateľnosť v poľnohospodárstve, výrobu potravín a potravinárske technológie v dunajskom regióne a je v súlade so študijným odborom Potravinárstvo. Je realizovaný v rámci projektu Erasmus Mundus Joint Master. Ide o dvojročný spoločný inžiniersky študijný program vyučovaný výlučne v anglickom jazyku. V projekte sa zameriame na výučbu predmetu „Potraviny, výživa a metabolizmus“. Vzhľadom k tomu, že sa jedná o nový program (od roku 2023), je potrebné doplniť a inovovať praktickú časť výučby, zavádzať nové metódy s cieľom zvýšenia praktických zručností študentov a zlepšenie konkurencieschopnosti a ich uplatnenie v praxi. V rámci projektu bude pripravený študijný materiál v anglickom jazyku – moderná učebnica s najnovšími poznatkami s cieľom skvalitnenia interpretácie obsahu daného predmetu využitím názorných a hlavne pre študentov prijateľných prostriedkov, ktoré zahŕňajú logické a komplexné spracovanie problematiky s  možnosťou samotestovania. Výsledkom riešenia projektu bude modernizovanie laboratórnych cvičební prostriedkami informačno-komunikačných technológií a laboratórnymi pomôckami s cieľom zatraktívnenia praktickej časti daných predmetov.

Project annotation in English language

The present project is focused on the implementation of innovative didactic means and complementing the practical part of teaching in the field of food and metabolism in the new accredited joint degree programme (MSc. joint degree) Sustainability in Agriculture, Food Production and Food Technology in the Danube Region (Danube AgriFood Master - DAFM). It focuses on sustainability in agriculture, food production and food technology in the Danube region and is aligned with the field of study Food Science. It is implemented in the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master project. It is a two-year joint engineering degree programme taught entirely in English. The project will focus on the teaching of the subject "Food, Nutrition and Metabolism”. As this is a new programme (from 2023), it is necessary to complement and innovate the practical part of the teaching, introducing new methods in order to increase the practical skills of students and improve their competitiveness and their application in practice. In the project we will prepare study material in English - a modern textbook with the latest knowledge with the aim of improving the interpretation of the content of the subject by using illustrative and especially for students acceptable means, which include a logical and comprehensive treatment of the issue with the possibility of self-testing. As a result of the project solution, the laboratory training rooms will be modernized by means of information and communication technologies and laboratory aids in order to make the practical part of the courses more attractive.
