Probačná služba v oblasti trestného práva a restoratívnej justície zohráva v súčasnosti vo svete i na Slovensku významnú úlohu, ktorá sa sústreďuje predovšetkým na udeľovanie alternatívnych trestov, resocializáciu odsúdených a podporu obetí. Táto služba má zásadný význam pre dosiahnutie spravodlivosti, ktorá nie je len o trestaní, ale aj o naprávaní a integrácii. Hlavným cieľom projektu je vytvoriť elektronickú interaktívnu edukačnú a komunikačnú platformu zameranú na odborné vzdelávanie a tréning v oblasti probačnej a mediačnej práce. Platforma bude slúžiť ako most medzi teóriou a praxou, pričom zdôrazňuje dôležitosť spolupráce akademického prostredia formálneho vysokoškolského vzdelávania s externými inštitúciami z praxe, ako sú súdy, sociálne služby a ďalšie vzdelávacie inštitúty. Vedľajším, ale nie menej dôležitým cieľom a zároveň výstupom je séria krátkych edukačných dokumentárnych filmov v oblasti príkladov dobrej praxe v restoratívnej starostlivosti, penitenciárnej i postpenitenciárnej starostlivosti.

Project annotation in English language

The probation service in the field of criminal law and restorative justice plays a significant role in the world and in Slovakia today, focusing primarily on alternative sentencing, resocialisation of convicted persons and support for victims. This service is essential for achieving justice, which is not only about punishment, but also about rehabilitation and integration. The main objective of the project is to create an electronic interactive education and communication platform aimed at professional education and training in the field of probation and mediation work. The platform will serve as a bridge between theory and practice, highlighting the importance of collaboration between the academic environment of formal higher education and external practitioners such as courts, social services and other training institutes. A secondary, but no less important, objective and outcome is a series of short educational documentaries on examples of good practice in restorative care, both penitentiary and post-penitentiary care.
