Project annotation in Slovak language

Ako reakcia na rapídny vývoj a pokrok v oblasti umelej inteligencie (z angl. Artificial Intelligence - AI) v 21. storočí bola na pôde Vysokej školy výtvarných umení v Bratislave (VŠVU) založená pracovná skupina ERAI – Education-Research-Artificial Intelligence (slov. vzdelávanie-výskum-umelá inteligencia). Zameraním tejto interdisciplinárnej platformy sú medziodborové (medzikatedrové) spolupráce naprieč akademickou pôdou a z nich vyplývajúci výskum v oblasti súčasného umenia, dizajnu, architektúry a umelej inteligencie. Súčasný tím platformy tvoria pedagógovia a doktorandi z Katedry architektonickej tvorby (KAT), Katedry vizuálnej komunikácie (KVK) a platformy Digitálnych umení (DU) VŠVU v Bratislave. 
Platforma ERAI si vytýčila jasné didaktické ciele - vďaka interdisciplinárnym kolaboratívnym projektom, priamej interakcii a hlbokému pochopeniu technológii AI - zvýšiť dátovú a mediálnu gramotnosť študentov, avšak rovnako im aj ponúknuť stratégie ako premieňať nadobudnuté teoretické poznatky do aplikovanej praxe. Tento prístup je kľúčový pri podpore spolutvorby medzi človekom a umelou inteligenciou (z angl. Human-AI Co-creation) a preklenutí priepasti medzi kreativitou a novými technológiami. Spojením tvorivých talentov s technologickými inováciami otvára cestu k novým autorským metodológiam. Tieto nové inovatívne postupy (z angl. workflows) sú kľúčové pri navrhovaní a tvorbe súčasného posthumánneho umenia, dizajnu a architektúry, ktoré zrkadlia fenomény a nuansy súčasnej postdigitálnej éry.
Výskumné činnosti v rámci ERAI sa plánujú realizovať prostredníctvom širokého spektra rôznych formátov napríklad dlhodobých a krátkodobých študijných zadaní ateliéru a seminárov, workshopov, prednáškových cyklov, vrátane zapojenia študentov do odborných besied s expertmi z danej oblasti, prípadne exkurziami a návštevami relevantných realizovaných projektov (z angl. case studies) a výstav. So zámerom dynamicky rozširovať a inovovať svoje odborné znalosti, bude platforma semestrálne ponúkať expertom z externého prostredia možnosť zapojiť sa do priamej výuky formu štipendia – fellowship. Externý člen ponúkne platforme nové know-how v oblasti AI (z akademického prostredia alebo praxe) a rovnako posilní spoločné učenie a zdieľanie vedomostí medzi členmi tímu ERAI a študentmi. Prostredníctvom tohto štipendia sa podnieti interakcia tímu ERAI a jeho študentov s externým prostredím a sieťou profesionálov, čím by sa obohatilo akademické prostredie a podporila kultúra špičkových inovácií a umeleckého bádania. 
Medzi hlavné metodické výstupy tejto iniciatívy patrí aj vytvorenie špecializovaných učebných materiálov pre jej poslucháčov, čím by sa riešil hlavný nedostatok zdrojov v tejto novej a dynamicky sa vyvíjajúcej oblasti. Vytvorené digitálne rozhranie prispeje aj ku archivácii odborných textov, štúdií a projektov členov ERAI či poskytne priestor pre zdieľanie vyvinutých open-sourcových AI nástrojov. 
Na realizáciu týchto ambicióznych cieľov je nevyhnutné neustále vzdelávanie a rozvoj pedagogických členov ERAI. To zahŕňa účasť na medzinárodných konferenciách, vytváranie partnerstiev so zahraničnými inštitúciami a organizovanie medzinárodných prednášok a seminárov, ktoré sú zamerané na sústavné prehlbovanie vedomostí a praktických zručností osôb zapojených do platformy.

As a reaction to the rapid development and progress in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the 21st century, a working group ERAI - Education-Research-Artificial Intelligence was established at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava (AFAD). The focus of this interdisciplinary platform is on interdepartmental collaborations across academia and the resulting research in the fields of contemporary art, design, architecture and artificial intelligence. The current team of the platform consists of lecturers and PhD students from the Department of Architecture (KAT), the Department of Visual Communication (KVK) and the Digital Arts Platform (DU) of the AFAD in Bratislava. 
The ERAI platform has set clear didactic goals - through interdisciplinary collaborative projects, direct interaction, and a deep understanding of AI technologies - to increase students' data and media literacy but also to offer them strategies for translating the theoretical knowledge they have acquired into applied practice. This approach is key in fostering Human-AI Co-creation and bridging the gap between creativity and new technologies. By combining creative talents with technological innovation, it opens the way to new authoring methodologies. These new innovative workflows are key to the design and creation of contemporary post-human art, design, and architecture that mirror the phenomena and nuances of the contemporary post-digital era. 
Research activities within ERAI are planned to be carried out through a wide range of different formats such as long and short-term studio assignments and seminars, workshops, and lecture series, including the involvement of students in professional discussions with experts in the field, or excursions and visits to relevant implemented projects (case studies) and exhibitions. With the intention to dynamically expand and innovate their expertise, the platform will offer experts from the external environment the opportunity to participate in direct teaching in the form of a fellowship on a semesterly basis. The fellowship will offer the platform new know-how in the field of AI (from academia or practice), as well as foster collaborative learning and knowledge sharing between ERAI team members and students. Through this fellowship, the interaction of the ERAI team and its students with the external environment and a network of professionals will be encouraged, thereby enriching the academic environment and fostering a culture of cutting-edge innovation and artistic exploration. 
Among the main methodological outcomes of this initiative is the creation of specialized teaching materials for its audiences, which would address a major resource gap in this new and dynamically evolving field. The digital interface created will also contribute to the archiving of ERAI members' scientific texts, studies, and projects or provide a space for sharing developed open-source AI tools. 
Continuous training and development of ERAI's teaching staff is essential to realize these ambitious goals. This includes participating in international conferences, establishing partnerships with foreign institutions, and organizing international lectures and seminars aimed at continuously enhancing the knowledge and practical skills of those involved in the platform.
